Our housing policy is the bedrock of our manifesto, a document we wrote in collaboration with more than 50 local residents who truly believe we can change Guernsey for the better. One of those people is Steve Williams, the former CEO of the Guernsey Housing Association.
In this video, which featured during our manifesto launch event, Steve outlines the approach taken by the housing policy working group.
"Rather than bringing consultants in, let's use local acumen and local skills and experience. I hope candidates take it forward...and the new States see it as a very positive thing and crack on and immediately hit the ground running and start delivering more homes."
